Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm CEST

Reporting to: VP of Finance & Compliance
Role Description
We have a new opportunity opening up within our Finance and Compliance team at BCN Visuals. We are seeking a skilled Accountant, with at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide the team with accurate quantitative financial information, whilst ensuring we remain compliant with all tax regulations.
Key responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
- Manage all accounting transactions, including journal entries and general ledger.
- Publish financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting (P&L and BS).
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns when necessary.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Requirements and skills
- Degree in ADE, Economics or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience as an Accountant within a Spanish company.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Plan General de Contabilidad (PGC), IFRS, and GAAP.
- Experience with multiple accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Programming knowledge is a plus (SQL, Python, MongoDB or others).
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools is a plus (Power BI, Tableau, or others).
- Good level of both Spanish and English.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
